Where Are They Now: Cadence Quaranta

After two years in Taipei reporting on cross-Strait relations and Taiwan’s foreign affairs for TaiwanPlus, Cadence Quaranta has returned to the United States to pursue a master’s degree at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.

At Berkeley, Cadence will focus on OSINT and investigative reporting, with the goal of continuing to pursue this work anywhere in the world after graduation.

Cadence won the OPC Foundation David R. Schweisberg Scholar Award in 2022.
