Olivia Carville wins Medill’s John Bartlow Martin Award

An OPC Foundation Roy Rowan Scholar Award winner 2018, Olivia Carville, has been awarded Medill’s John Bartlow Martin Award that honors journalism in the public interest.

Olivia Carville and Cecilia D’Anastasio are recognized for their reporting for Bloomberg Business week in 2024 called  “Unsafe Online”. They investigate the dangers social media platforms present especially for teenagers and the horrific effects in the offline real world.
