OPC Foundation 2025 Scholar Award Winners Selected as The Wall Street Journal News Associates

Jared Mitovich and Christopher Kuo, both 2025 OPC Foundation Scholar Award Winners, are joining The Wall Street Journal as News Associates in September based in New York City. Through the partnership between The Wall Street Journal and the OPC Foundation, Christopher Kuo has been named the OPC Foundation Wall Street Journal News Associate.

The Wall Street Journal News Associates will participate in a two-year rotational program that provides exposure to all the principal aspects of the news room through classroom-based and on-the-job-training. The Associates will spend six months reporting in a regional U.S. news bureau. The program leads to a permanent role in the newsroom.
