OPC Foundation S&P Global Scholar Award recipient 2026 Reva Abrol has been selected as one of the 2026 Pulitzer Center Fellows.
The fellowship, administered through a partnership between Columbia Journalism School and the Pulitzer Center, supports emerging journalists pursuing ambitious reporting projects on underreported issues of global importance. This year's program selected eight graduates to receive funding and mentorship for reporting projects around the world.
An independent journalist based in New York, Reva focuses her reporting on immigration, borders, and technology. Her Pulitzer Center-supported project will examine how the expansion of AI data centers intersects with worsening water scarcity in Querétaro, Mexico, where 17 of the state's 18 municipalities faced severe drought in 2024.
